Valid Productions, together with co-producers Norwich Theatre, have teamed up with Carlos Acosta and his brilliant company of dancers at Acosta Danza to bring audiences around England an explosion of dance, colour, music and joy this festive season (November 2024 – January 2025) with the highly anticipated debut of Carlos’s brand new production Nutcracker in Havana.
This production is a fusion of the much loved family tale, interwoven with the vibrancy of Cuban dance traditions, explored from the perspective that only Carlos can bring to life on stage through his skilful choreography and direction.
If that wasn’t enough to delight audiences, the newly commissioned version of the original Tchaikovsky score, arranged by acclaimed Cuban composer Pepe Gavilondo will arouse the joyful seasonal spirit and warm the hearts of all.
